I am trying to analyze microarrays of A. thaliana. I know that the Affymetrix ATH1 array is in Bioconductor but it requires utils. How do you install those so that annotation dbi can be used for analysis? Thank you.
You'll have to be more explicit, particularly by showing code that produces whatever it is that is perplexing you. The utils package is a recommended package, and comes with R, so what exactly are you asking?
