Is it possible to change the email address linked to my account on the bioconductor support website? I don't see an option to change it when editing my profile.

Yes. Please email webmaster@bioconductor.org with your current email and the email that you would like it updated to.

The email change by users had to be disabled due to a security problem with Django (the application server that site was developed with).

It has been recently discovered that the builtin methodology shipped with Django had a security issue that could be exploited by a determined attacker.

For now, you would need to ask an admin to have your email changed.

Apologies for the problem, the new version of the software won't have this limitation
