How do we get a longer list of "Recent ... [replies]"

One thing I think I miss about the mailing list is that it was a bit easier to accidentally catch wind of an interesting discussion that may have originated in an original question that I, for one reason or another, I wasn't paying close attention to when it first landed.

I find that the "Recent... Replies" widget at the top right of the landing page is helpful here to see what activity is going on where (and by who), but it only lists the latest 5 such replies. Is there a link we can jump to that lists pretty much that same exact content but in a longer form with more entries?

Hi Steve -- I think the 'Recent' list was actually shortened at another point in the life of the support site, in response to comments that the side bar was too noise and with less-than-relevant information. It would be interesting to explore options, e.g., a user setting or single page chronicling recent posts regardless of hierarchical structure. I don't think there's anything currently available (though maybe there is...) so I'd suggest that you post an issue on the github repository associated with the support site.

I don't see a recent link at the top right. My page looks like this, and I can just use the limit drop-down at the top left to adjust what I see. Is this not what others see?

Your attachment didn't come through; maybe try imgur?

Are you on a phone or a small screen? Try dragging the browser till it's bigger and you should get a more full-featured design. Go to https://support.bioconductor.org/ and look at the right hand side of the page.

I just edited to use imgur. I used the direct link as the FAQ recommends, but it's just a link. Going full size on a 24" screen doesn't change what the page looks like for me, but I don't mind it this way.

Ah, never mind. I see what Steve is asking about. That's a different subject altogether.
