I am working on single-channel Affymetrix data. I recently got to know about the concept of filtering for, for example for lowly-expressed probes. Almost what I found through my search was for two-channel platforms. So I am wondering if it is also necessary for me to filter my probes. And I would like to know which criteria I should consider.
