Bioinformatician in Experimental Cancer Research (80-100%)

The Childhood leukemia research group is seeking a highly motivated member for our team at the Department of Biomedicine of the University Children’s Hospital in Basel/Switzerland.

We are looking for a bioinformatician to analyze different datasets (RNA-Seq, scRNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq, ATAC-Seq, Proteomics) emerging from our models for blood cancer. You will work in close collaboration with the DBM Bioinformatics Core Facility.

Ideally, you have a Master-, or PhD degree in quantitative field such as computational biology, physics or mathematics with strong interest in biology and you have proven practical experience in analysis of biological datasets such as NGS.
Sound statistical knowledge and fluent programming skills in R/Bioconductor are required.
Interest and active contribution of supervision and guidance of (under) graduate students is expected.
