The BioC 3.6 branch is now ready.

Remember, you always have access to 2 versions of your package in git: the "release" and "devel" versions. The “release” branch is for bug fixes and documentation improvements only. The “devel” branch is where normal development should occur.

To continue using your existing clone, be sure to pull the version bump and branch creation changes from Bioconductor, following instructions at

http://bioconductor.org/developers/how-to/git/pull-upstream-changes/

Instructions for working with “release” and “devel” branches are on the web site:

http://bioconductor.org/developers/how-to/git/

If you have questions, please post them to bioc-devel@r-project.org.

The git repositories are updated, but it seems that BiocInstaller::biocLite isn't working correctly yet for Bioc 3.6.

I guess I'm jumping the gun and should wait for tomorrow.

Yes, the code repositories need to branch, and then a nightly build run. So today October 31 at about 2:30 Eastern will provide access to 3.6 build products.
