The fourth Bioconductor Asia meeting (https://www.abacbs.org/biocasia2018/) will be held on Friday 30th November 2018 in Melbourne, Australia as a satellite event to ABACBS 2018 (https://www.abacbs.org/conference2018/about/). Speakers for the event include Prof Martin Morgan and A/Prof Stephanie Hicks.

This one-day event aims to bring together researchers with an interest in the Bioconductor project to exchange ideas and expertise. On the preceding day (Thursday 29th November) a hands-on Bioconductor training day will be held. (https://www.abacbs.org/bioc2018-handson-training-day/)

We welcome attendance from both users and package developers (current and prospective).

If you'd like an opportunity to present your work, consider submitting an abstract by Friday 28th September. A number of scholarships ($500 AUD) are available for students, early career researchers and Bioconductor package developers to help cover the cost of travel to attend the meeting (refer to the meeting website for further instructions).

We hope to see you there!
