and after a lot of work by Yang Liao, Rsubread is now available for Windows starting from version 1.99.0. Rsubread is now available for all the usual Bioconductor platforms.

For the moment, this is only for the Developmental version of Bioconductor, but it will migrate to the Release version soon.

The new Windows version of Rsubread is now available as part of the Bioconductor 3.9 Release and should be available to anyone using R 3.6.0 or higher.
