I am using WGCNA with corType="bicor", maxPOutliers= 0.05, robustY=FALSE and minModuleSize = 30. For some weird reason, it outputs a module with single gene in it even though its not supposed to give any module with less than 30 in size. That module also happens to be the last in number. No such issue if I use the corType to "pearson". Even with the "bicor" option, I don't have this problem when working with other datasets. I also checked the expression values for this single gene and there was nothing wrong with it.

Does anyone have any insight?

Is that the grey module? Usually the grey module includes the genes that don't fit in any module
