Hi,

In the WGCNA you can merge very similar modules, but then some modules might be split up when matching to the original dendrogram. I was wondering if it is possible to draw the dendrogram (and the heatmap) so that the individual modules are together (e.g. the blue module in the image)?

Hi Jon,

I don't know of any way to update the dendrogram after it has been created, but one thing you might try is to tweak some of the earlier parameters instead, and skip the module merging. In my experience, you can often arrive at similar results simply by increasing the minimum module size, or decreasing /disabling the "deepSplit" parameter.

Cheers,

Keith
