Hi all,

We are pleased to announce that that European Bioconductor Developers Conference will take place in Cambridge, England from 7th-8th December 2015.

The meeting is aimed at bioinformaticians, programmers and software engineers who contribute to the Bioconductor project, or are interested in developing packages for Bioconductor.

We are still finalising the programme for the meeting and invited speakers. Please use this link to register your interest and tell us if you would like to contribute a "flashlight" or longer talk. There are a limited number of places - for the best chance of consideration, please complete the form by the 6th November. We will send out invitations containing full details, including information on accommodation and travel, soon after that date.

Hi,

Are you intending to start at lunchtime on the Monday as per last year?

Thanks,

Phil

Hi Phil,

We haven't really decided on a schedule, although I wouldn't be surprised if it was quite similar to before.  Is starting later on Monday quite beneficial to you?  It'd be good to know this from anyone else that has an opinion too.

Cheers,

Mike

We have a tentative timetable and an initial list of speakers up on the conference webpage.

For those that still would like to register and/or propose a flashlight talk, please fill out the form.

Do not hesitate to get in touch if there are any questions.

Best wishes,

Laurent

Hi Phil,

Sorry, it will be an 09:30 start on the Monday. This is so that we can finish early on the Tuesday to allow people to catch flights back etc.

The timetable will be announced very shortly along with a list of invited speakers.

Best wishes,

Mark

Thanks for the information Mark and Mike.  I'm already attending the Wellcome Trust Target Validation and Informatics conference at Hinxton from Tuesday lunch to Thursday evening so was just looking to tie it in with that really.  Travelling from CRUK Manchester so just trying to work out if I'd have to travel Sunday night or Monday morning!

Thanks again.
